The live room: you put a four-letter code on the screen, every phone in the room joins, answers show on the board in real time, and every response exports as data when you are done. No app to install, no accounts, no student names required.
On your laptop, open 4bc-live.web.app, pick the game under Presenter (the sixth-grade reading check One Panel of Jayden, or What Birmingham Already Knows, nine sourced questions on what Birmingham City Schools has already said and done with AI), and click Start a new session. You land on your console, and your four-letter code is at the top. That code is the whole game. The link 4bc-live.web.app/?quiz=bcs-ai lands you with the Birmingham game already chosen.
Click Open board view. A second tab opens showing the join code huge. Drag that tab to the projector or the big screen. Your console stays on your laptop, private to you.
Tell the room: open 4bc-live.web.app on your phone, or scan the QR code. Type the four-letter code from the screen, then your name, then I'm in.
Watch the roster fill on your console and the board. When the room is in, click Launch question 1.
People answer on their phones. Your console and the board both show the count climbing live. First tap locks; nobody can change an answer or vote twice.
Click Reveal answer. The board turns the correct bar green, and every phone privately shows that person right or wrong, with the why. Correct answers score 100, automatically.
Next question through the set. The last question is open response: they write on their phones and every word lands in your export, nothing read aloud unless you choose to.
End and show podium. The board shows the top five. Let the room react.
On your console, click Export answers CSV. Every answer, every open response, timestamped, per person, per skill, in one file that opens in Excel or Sheets. The teacher grades nothing; the data is already organized.
